Chapter 7

Gene and his group, now joined with Bartz and his group, walked around the theme park. The group walked until Izzy stops and points.

Izzy: Oh look!

Everybody looks at where she was pointing. It was a photo booth.

Leria: Hey! Let's get our picture taken!
Rei: Yeah!

First was Rei and Bartz. First picture was them smiling, second pic they made funny faces, and the last one they were hugging.

Next up was Izzy, Gene, and Leria. First photo Izzy was hugging Gene, second was Leria doing the same thing and the final one all three of them were smiling and giving a piece sign.

Last was Jenn and Zidane. Both looked at each other and quickly looked opposite ways. Both were blushing and were nervous. Gene and Bartz looked at each other and smiled. Both of them began pushing Zidane while the girls were pushing Jenn.

Zidane: What the-!?
Jenn: Hey!?
Gene: Come on. You guys have yet to take a photo.

The two get pushed into the booth. Jenn and Zidane were again nervous. The camera was counting down. Zidane and Jenn's nervousness disappeared. The photos came out. Everybody looked at them and were surprised to see what was on them.

Zidane and Jenn came out of the booth.

Jenn: S-So...? How were they...?

Izzy hands her the photos. Seeing it, the two began to blush even more.

Izzy: They were cute!
Zidane: Really?
Bartz: Yeah!
Rei: Let's take a group photo!
Gene: How are we going to fit in a small space?
Leria: Will find a way.

The girls were in the middle of the booth while the boys were on the sides. The pictures came out perfect and everybody got a copy. The group continued walking. They passed by the carnival games.

Bartz smirks.

Bartz: Hey you guys.
Gene: What?
Bartz: Bet you I can beat all of you on these carnival games.

Gene and Zidane smiled.

Zidane: Your on!

They went to multiple carnival games. Gene won the target shooting, Zidane won the water gun race, while Bartz won the ball toss and horse shoes. The girls sigh.

Rei: There they go.
Leria: Like kids in a candy store.

The girls see a petting zoo. They began petting numerous animals.

Rei and Izzy were petting the horses. Leria was petting the ducks and Jenn was petting a baby fox.

Rei: They are so cute!
Leria: Yeah!

Once they finished, they rejoined with the boys.

Rei: Well...? Who won?

Zidane and Gene looked at each other and mumbled.

Gene and Zidane: Bartz...
Bartz: Yep! Thanks to my lucky feather!
Zidane: You and the feather.
Leria: Alright. Alright. Calm down...

The group continued again. They come across a face painting booth. Gene had his face look like a fox. Zidane's face had a number nine in roman numerals painted on his face. Bartz had what looked like feathers on his right cheek. Rei had music notes and Leria, Izzy and Jenn had their faces look like cats.

Gene's stomach suddenly grumbled. Everybody looked. Gene laughed nervously.

Gene: Ha Ha... Guess I'm getting hungry... Heh...
Izzy: Your not the only one.
Rei: Let's find someplace to eat.

The group headed to the food court. Each of them got their own food. and they all sat together.

Gene: Pizza. Pizza.
Izzy: I knew you were going to get that. Heh.
Gene: Yep!

The group began eating. Zidane was eating next to Gene. Gene slowly leans next to Zidane.

Gene: So how's everything going with you and Jenn?
Zidane: What?
Gene: You know?

Zidane blushes.

Zidane: It's going great... I guess...

Gene thinks of something and smiles.

Gene: I got an idea... I'll tell everybody once we finish eating.
